Sidyma
27 pictures
Sidyma is located in the village Dodurga. About 10 km of the road are without asphalt, and with a wonderful view along it.
There is some evidence that refer to the Classical period.
Emperor Marcian (450-457 A.D.), at the time a simple soldier on a campaign against the Persians, fell sick on the way through Lycia and was left behind in Sidyma.
No trace of the city survived. On the hill, there are some walls, graves, and cisterns.
