Horvat Amudim is located south of Netofa Valley, on the eastern side of the road between Golani junction and Kadarim junction. Remains of a settlement were found here.

The Synagogue

One of the largest synagogues in the Galilee was discovered at the heart of this settlement ( 25 x 14 meters). The synagogue was erected at the end of the 3rd century or the beginning of the 4th century A.D. Its floor contained pieces of mosaics, and if indeed it was covered with mosaics that would make him one of the few Galilee synagogues with such a floor.
Two rows of columns divided the prayer hall into a central room and two aisles. The synagogue was used for a short period of time. The settlement was abandoned at the end of the 4th century A.D.
