Deir Aziz

50 pictures     1 minutes HQ video

The synagogue at Dir Aziz lies on the southern slope of the Kanaf Stream. The main entrance to the synagogue is on the west. Only two columns were preserved in the central room. The prayer hall is divided by two rows of four columns each. This synagogue is similar in structure to the one discovered at Horvat Kanaf, and it was probably built in the 6th century A.D.
